Landscape Designer IV

Lauren is a Landscape Designer IV at Qunity with 10 years of experience in residential design, educational design, healthcare design, institutional design, and park/recreational design. Her background experience includes site planning, master planning, project management, and construction administration. 

Lauren has previous design experience with a landscape architecture firm in Durham, NC as well as with a landscape contracting company in upstate New York where she also helped manage its nursery. Her time with these companies has given her experience with a vast array of projects both big and small in states around the country.

FEATURED PROJECTS

John Chavis Memorial Park – Raleigh, NC.

Lauren was the junior project manager for the renovation of this historic public park which spans 29 acres. Included in the renovation and design of this park was an award-winning splash pad, playground, and underground silva cell system. 

NC A & T, The Harold L. Martin Sr. Engineering Research Building – Greensboro, NC

Lauren was a landscape designer on this NC A&T project and helped with the site design for this innovative building. Grading on this project was a significant challenge and many creative solutions had to be employed to create a universally accessible campus for all to enjoy.  

National Pan-Hellenic Council Legacy Plaza of “The Divine Nine” UNC – Chapel Hill, NC

Lauren was the construction administrator on this UNC project, who helped oversee the construction of this important monument for the UNC student body. 

 Star Gazing Park at Briar Chapel – Chapel Hill, NC

As lead designer for this award-winning star gazing park in Briar Chapel, the park sits a top Briar Chapel’s highest peak and come complete with a telescope to view North Carolina’s beautiful night sky. With natural rock outcrops, and plant material that is sprinkled throughout the park in the shapes of constellations and flower choices that shine beautifully in the night sky, the park is a favorite summer spot for residents of this community.
