As VP of Operations, Mr. Allen oversees stream and wetland delineations, environmental engineering design, construction inspections, and manages firmwide facilities, resources, and technology infrastructure. Neils 20+ years of land development experience have been at Qunity. His longstanding tenure with the firm has led to a vast project portfolio in both the public and private sectors. He is knowledgeable in municipal, commercial, and residential projects and has led multiple aspects of civil engineering including site design, roadway design, grading, drainage, private and municipal utilities, permitting, construction administration, and as-built acceptance. Neil has a passion for ecological design, striving to bridge the gap between civil engineering and environmental stewardship on every project. He is also a qualified construction inspector, with a history as both City of Durham Public Works supervisor and as a consultant. This experience often proves invaluable when faced with design or construction challenges that warrant non-conventional, innovative, and constructable solutions.
