Scott Muir is a Senior Landscape Architect with over 11 years of Landscape Architecture and Land Planning experience. Before his design career, Scott worked as an educator, an elder care specialist, and a veterinary assistant. He is driven to implement the ideals of permaculture, honor site-specific ecologies, influence healthy living, and positively impact the surrounding community’s post-development. Scott’s background spans a variety of project types including streetscapes, urban infill, mixed-use, private residential, healthcare, commercial, higher education, K-12, and children’s outdoor learning environments.
Scott’s experience includes site inventory and analysis, feasibility studies, site planning and design, land planning, community engagement, conceptual design, preliminary grading, planting plans, regulatory permitting, and construction drawing preparation. As a senior landscape architect, he is trusted to oversee the preparation of site reports, tree surveys, tree preservation design, site design, planting plans and calculations, renderings, entitlements and rezoning packages, and detailed design.
