Townhome developments provide residents the ability to own or rent their own home without the maintenance that a single family home typically requires. In addition, townhomes help increase the density of the development in the ever growning Durham market. 55 at the Park includes 165 units on 27 acres of land. This project was rezoning when brough to us to complete the Site Plan and Construction Documents. Our Land Planners worked with the Developers to increase the lot yield by constructing smaller private street systems within this community. Our Landscape Architects designed multiple areas of play space from the playground to walking trails to provide residents recreational opportunities within walking distance of their home. Our Engineering team worked to minimize the impact to the adjacent floodplain while incorporating a wet desention basin to treat the stormwater. In addition, our Project Managers coordinated with the traffic engineers and NCDOT to design the traffic signal located at NC 55 and Odyssey Drive.
