Family Fare – Hope Valley Rd

Family Fare is a local business with its headquarters right here in Durham, North Carolina. Our office has worked with the owner and many locations across North Carolina and Virgina. This Family Fare is located at a highly traveled intersection in South Durham at Hope Valley Road and Garrett Road. The previous convenience store was vacated by the owner when Family Fare purchased the site. Our design team worked with the owner to best accommodate the pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow, provide ample room between fueling stations, and accommodate the increase in impervious area. Our Project Managers helped coordinate the purchase of some land from the adjacent church to better accommodate the site while still providing the church with their access needs. Our Stormwater Engineers worked with ‘Stormtrap’ to design and underground sand filter to detain and treat the stormwater.
